I just now discontinued this book, though I hung in for three quarters. It’s the reason I’m not crazy about soap operas and Harlequin Romance. Surprised my bookstore , at least in Toronto, showed Oprah’s Book Club on the cover. The writing is simply not worthy of this title. It’s a slow read with a considerable amount of repetition.
The characters were not relatable and exaggerated . Yes, it’s good for book clubs, I guess, but simply not the quality of read for me. Sorry!

Visiting with my son from Toronto, Canada. Here are the pros and cons:
Lovely to be in Martha’s Vineyard though this is not an Island geared for tourists. Almost discouraging them
- mostly too expense for the average tourist.
- beaches too quiet .. couldn’t find one concession stand.
-Hotel ( Vineyard Square) was unduly expensive. Staff generally non- chalant, no extras other than a cold, continental breakfast ( not even peanut butter,
god forbid!)
Restaurants just not worth the price.
Got for a long weekend, otherwise avoid.

Quite an amazing film! Brilliantly written and acted. Exposes the behaviour of stalking, sexual assault and sexual identity.
Heavy topics, but realistically portrayed with elements of humor ironically.
Informative with core human emotion conveyed!
Well worth watching!
