Inspiring.
Like most of us, Mi Rae suffers from low self esteem due to ridicule by people around her. It is a common social dysfunction most people go through in life. Always the need to be accepted by other people other than ourselves and those who matter most in our lives.
Awesome how Mi Rae managed to stay true to herself despite the situations she is made to go through. Initially secretive, she ends up being very open and real about her situation. What i like is how she doesnt let people intimidate her and stands up for herself. This is hard as most times low self esteem makes us vulnerable and sink lower when subjected to verbal bullying.
What makes this a good watch is how it also shares the reverse perspective too. How everyone has some self issues even though society may think that they have it all (in this instance looks).
Sexism and gender bias issues are also raised.
Cool how it highlights the importance of support and being there for each other in any situation, friends and family ♥️
