Beautifully, though unconvemtionally written. Beautiful descriptions of landscape throughout capture a haunting land and era where the world is vast and man is small and in an instant your life can change for better or (much) worse. An Odessy of sorts - a story of trying to establishing sh oneself in the world, to set a moral compass in a changing and unsentimental world. A very rich reading experience that touches you on many levels

Brilliantly acted and beautifully shot. A chamber drama with 2 actors that are both able to command the screen and hold out attention.Maybe a little long, but this film is an emotional roller-coaster that seldom relents.

Surprisingly little depth or complexity of the characters. delivers on the emotional trauma of divorce, but only in relation to isolated incidents.... A little underwhelmed tbh...
