Much better than I expected. The soundtrack is great, especially the Khazad-Dûm Theme. The things that are legally linked to the Silmarillion are a good way of paying homage to the book that Amazon couldn’t get rights to. The first episode seemed a little bit crammed with lots of information about the story, but the second episode was much better. The friendship between Elrond and Durin IV is really funny. Don’t know how I feel about already being 25% through the season.
