This movie is a total insult to the book series. For your sake of movie taste, don't watch this disaster if you haven't read the book series. The only actors that looked like their characters was Dimitri, Christian, and Lisa, while the actress for Rose did not fit the edgy, badass and wit mold that is Rose Hathaway. Hell, Megan Fox would've been a perfect fit for Rose. Then of course you got the pace of the movie, which was way too fast. I appreciate they followed the book to an extent, but the pace is so bad that it doesn't give the audience enough time to digest what's going on. And then the other Damphirs and Moroi. Idk how you could get the appearances mixed up so badly, but yeah. The directors and producers did little to no homework on details. I was expecting more from this considering this was being directed by the same people who did the classic hit Mean Girls. Sadly they did a poor job. Makes me glad there's no sequel, because I can only imagine how much of a train wreck that would've been.

Imagine finding a laptop and taking it, only to discover that you've made a grave mistake. And just when you think things couldn't get worse, they really do. This movie is not only underrated, but it 's also disturbing and paints a pretty good picture on why messing with Dark Web stuff is a huge NO-NO.
