I don’t play the video game. I have only watched the first movie. So I’m not a diehard nerd fan. That being said, my objective opinion of the show is “it’s ok”. The action is decent when it happens, but I found myself getting bogged down in unnecessary and somewhat tedious backstory. I know they needed to set it up…but did it need to be so boring? I’m hopeful that the story will pick up and grab me soon. I’ll finish the first season but unless something changes, I’ll be passing on the next (if it even happens, which is dubious in my humble opinion).
