It's a heartwarming good-feel family movie. Simple drama. I watched many silent movies but have never seen a movie where most of the characters are deaf. Nevertheless, they have shown their best. It's a tribute to the deaf community as Troy Kotsur mentioned in his Oscar-winning speech. Surprisingly he has also a hearing disability.
