Well written and though aheartbreaking It captivated me. An absolute emotional roller coaster. I loved the use of one household to narrate a journey of everyone's experience during PEV in Kenya. It took me back to my university days at USIU and Fifi was real we partied thier. I too was an ODM campaigner while my family was in PNU. It's beautifully written and a bestseller on my list.

Beautifully written and well crafted..it takes you through a journey of two sisters whose lineage and generations to follow started and endured the curse of being African in the dreadful era of the slave trade to modern day.
