To be completely honest, it looked like a good movie from the beginning. You didn't know what was going on exactly which built up the suspense. However by the end, you're left with SO many questions that never really get answered. Just sitting here confused with what I just watched. There was such a good foundation for this movie and a lot they could have done with it but fell short in my opinion. Whats most shocking is this movie is over 2 hours long and yet I feel like I didn't watch much. By the end, you don't know if the son ever healed from whatever illness he had (the movie didn't do a good job explaining it, just that it had something to do with the attack 1 or more countries may have planned for America which by end were not sure who the attack was from). Also, by the end of the movie, the mother and girl are looking for the daughter but we don't know if she ever finds her, the 2 fathers are out with the son getting him medicine and they're about to leave to maybe go to the bunker but we aren't ever sure what their plan is. The movies just leaves it at that. The daughter wondered off to another house where the bunker was held which is why their looking for her. She's just sitting there watching her TV show and eating up all the snacks in which she'll probably blow on the 20 years worth of food in a year. This movie will make you hate that child as she's one hell of an annoying little brat. Such a terrible ending. May have been the WORST ending I have ever seen in a movie and I've seen A LOT of movies, and I mean A LOT. It pisses you off even more because the beginning of the movies looks so interesting and you have high hopes for it just for it to completely suck at the end. I was looking at how much time was left in the movie and when I saw it had less than 15 min I thought there was NO WAY! It felt like it was in the middle of the movie still and that's exactly how this ending felt. It felt like they ended the movie right in the middle! Don't waste your time watching this movie! It'll just piss you off.
