I've embarrassingly read only a few books and found this gem at a charity shop. Decided to give it a go and after about twenty pages I was hooked. I usually become bored when reading hence why I have only read a few but the magician kept me engaged and found myself turning pages quickly as my curiosity and thirst for knowing want happens next grew with each page passing. I don't wish to spoil or reveal to much of the story, I just implore you to grab a copy and start the adventure with pug and his companions.

For me the first was the superior game, though the second isn't a hot mess as some people are labeling it. There are some issues, such as story progression and minor plot holes. The latter can be overlooked as you the player are in an unpredictable post apocalyptic world. The story progression and flashbacks, I can understand why people dislike this. Playing as abby cuts and dissolves the tension and climax of ellie's playthrough. The game also doesn't use ellie's immunity as the center piece as the first, which some players dislike this. At first I disliked abby but the more I played her the more I liked her as a character. Some of my favourite levels are playing as abby. Some people have given the game bad reviews as they disliked that abby is stacked, ellie is in a same sex relationship and a beloved character died. These reasons are fragile and a cop-out. The game is stunning to look at, the detail is insane and the voice acting is great. The game is quite affordable now, so I recommend just to buy it
