Juliet Carter

The actor who played the adult Hilter, Robert Carlyle, is an incredibly talented actor and his performance was pure perfection. Unless my source is wrong and he has won an Emmy award, I am baffled as to why he hasn't. I really hope they do a sequel to this, but only if Robert Carlyle plays Hitler again. I must add that in no way, shape or form do I commend the barbaric atrocities of WW2, but this mini-series is superbly written and as far as I'm aware, historically accurate. All the other areas in-between, is how I would imagine Hitler behaving. The intense background music made this series even better. Bravo, bravo!

Putting aside some bad acting and the writers virtually copying loads from Inglorious Basterds, I actually did enjoy watching this film, plus some characters I thought were good and the acting gets better as the film progresses. Was going to switch this off from the first scene which kicks off with appaulling acting & it being so close to the basement bar scene in Inglorious Basterds, it's so shocking; however, I continued watching and I'm glad I did. Playing it for the second time now (surprisingly lol), but it made me chuckle.
