This game, although beautiful animated, is just ABSOLUTELY frustrating at times. Here are the reasons why this game deserves the review it has gotten: 1) The fights are WAYYY too long and drawn out and require a whole lot more patience than a person who is playing this game as a relaxation has. 2) There are numerous glitches in the game, specifically in the part ‘The Broken Sky’ where one of the Rebels somehow ended up underground, a place where Aloy definitely cannot go… and the rebels aren’t supposed go either. An attempt to fix the glitch led to an overwrite of data resulting in the machine being resurrected. 3) The story is excruciatingly slow. The game keeps on asking us to go fight machines with a much larger life than we have and limited time is given to elaborate on the main storyline. 4) Aloy is extremely slow to get up, attack, etc. while the enemies fight at unrealistic speeds, not waiting a moment before making a second attack. Also, multiple enemies attack from all sides at once making it extremely difficult to survive. 5) The player seems out of control while playing this game with Aloy’s movements being erratic. I have no idea when she’ll jump out in front of the enemy while my actual intention is the hide. Sometimes, she even refuses to shoot! (All other games are working fine) The only thing that’s improved in this game from the last are the graphics. If you want to see a pretty picture and breathtaking scenes, this game is the one for you.
