Higurashi Gou / Sotsu was a waste of time and storytelling. I expected better because this was my first time seeing Higurashi. Instead, I got a lazy sequel with subpar writing. *SPOILERS* The main focus are on two little girls with one murdering in a time loop given by a non-explanation Dues ex Machina character. The culprit's reason? NOT STUDYING and NOT GROWING UP. Spelling Gou and Sotsu backwards is Sotsugou, which in Japanese that stands for graduation. This wasn't a graduation, this was a dunce for me. The ending even force-fed a happy message, where everyone is happy. That ending was not even earned in so many ways. In the name of all that is holy, DO NOT WATCH Higurashi Gou / Sotsu.
