In the episodes I have seen so far (through episode 7/what was released so far) I’ve grown to like the show more each time. Each episode has an individual mystery the main character Charlie (Natasha Lyonne) ends up solving. The episodes usually begin with an interesting conflict that leads to some characters unfortunate end. It’s then up to our protagonist job to shed light on what really happened due to her ability to detect lies. After the beginning of each episode, we get to see our protagonist Charlie interact with people in the episode that ends up creating a compelling reason for Charlie to stay and set the record straight. The overarching story is interesting and each episode feels different enough to want to come back for more. The show is an easy watch and even though the idea has been done before (Columbo), it feels like a fresh take on murder mystery.
