We can decipher a movie in any mundane way possible. The scope and latitude of this movie should be taken on its own merit, not merely based on the Peter Rabbit book series.
I don't presuppose myself to be an apt/articulate movie critic. I'd rather identify myself with movies which mirror my appeal, not ammonia conjecture.
If you enjoy the early days & times of 'Winnie the Pooh' with a bit more flare and action sequence, this is right up your alley.
The movie is sensitive and sweet, filled with enough action and humor to make you lose track of time and fall into the picture.
I suppose I'd rather stop being desensitized by the world's sense of darken reality. I think we can all attest to the fact we, collectively, create the measure of the world we live in. Truth be told, we don't have anyone else to blame but ourselves, and we certainly haven't made the world a brighter place for our children the last few generations.
In conclusion, it would be rather more appropriate to not hammer a movie for it's innocence and more 'child-like' qualities - and stop tripping over our own flawed sense of misguided, affluent, self-imposed (and ineptly contrived)
sophistication.
Not every movie has to be 'one better than the last' to possess its own gravity and appeal.
