Not up to previous Marvel movie standards. There was no real character development. Toward the end of the movie, Captain Marvel suddenly acquires these โGod-likeโ powers and there is no explanation about why or how. It just felt like the actors and director phoned in their performance. The storyline had potential that was not achieved. Special effects were ok.
