The only reason that I gave this book five stars is because I have never had a book make me feel such visceral hatred towards a Character. To any one planing on reading this book I wish you luck. Don’t get me wrong the writing is amazing but you are not going to enjoy it. The first chapter doesn’t seem to be that bad but the second makes you want to kill somebody. By the end of this book the name Holden Caulfield will awaken a primal rage that you didn’t even know you were capable of feeling. My copy of this book has been deformed from being thrown across rooms. I honestly think that this book has some sort of black magic connected to it to cause this type of reaction. I do not recommend reading this book if you have a short temper as just writing this review is making me angry.
