No strong story line.
Bad direction and bad performances except for Anupam Kher. He could be called the only saviour of this film.
Yes, we came to know that other than actions Pallavi Joshi can fairy sing and even play harmonica. Thanks to her husband and film’s producer-director Vivek Agnihotri.
Forced humour when it’s totally not necessary is utterly stupid part of screenplay.
Why that disoriented hand held camera work? It doesn’t add anything to the dramatic scenes.
One film with bad screenplay. The efforts of showing two stories parallelly in this 2 hours and 50 mins film (past and present) just distracts and leaves the audiences in more confusion.
The film has 12-15 horrifying scenes showing brutality feel like individual incidents which have nothing to do with main story line. They are placed randomly in the screenplay with an effort to make a whole story which is wasted.
Sensible audiences will be bored In first 20 mins and then even the most brutal scenes won’t have any grand impact on your mind.
Cliche dialogues and humour. One can predict each dialogue easily.
As expected , the film directly and indirectly targets the then government for failing at numerous levels inciting feeling of hatred, aggression instead of feeling sympathetic towards the people who suffered.
This film could be called as an introductory chapter to those who aren’t very much aware about the whole issue. But unfortunately instead of making the audiences more sensitive towards our culture and national diversity and protecting each other from the flaws of the society, it just instigates them to be more brutal against one religion.
