I have tried on multiple occasions to get through the first episode but the rage in me was too much. I failed to continue watching any further as the fate of the run-away slave all while the slavemaster was hosting an outdoor dinner party was too much to visually and emotionally bare. The cruelty inflicted on African Americans during this time in this nation's history is worse than beyond anything I could ever imagine as I'm sure the scene I witnessed was just one of the many atrocities black people had to endure. I cannot get that scene out of my mind. The anger and rage I felt and still feel have yet to subside. I cannot continue to watch this show due to my overboiling rage, sadness, hurt, anger and outrage.
