This is my childhood comfort tv show. Imagine combining Franklin, We Three Bears, The Aristocats, Milo and Otis, Anne of Green Gables, Ghibli, Babar, Matilda, Ella Enchanted, Little Women, and Winnie The Pooh together. Then imagine you dipped that combination of stories and characters and feelings into a warm cup of late Victorian or early Edwardian tea, and drank it at your grandma's house wrapped in a warm blanket of soft flannel and love. It was the original cottagecore influence in my life.
