The scene which moved me most was Rai's soliloquy "I wanted to leave you, but didn't want you to leave - not in this way". And Indranil by doing that left her permanently chained to him for the rest of her life. What could be more tragic than that ? She could have started afresh instead of hanging on to a photograph.. Indranil's image to our society made her into being 'Caesar's wife" . The film ends with her realization that she actually loved him deeply. I preferred her earlier retort " Who do you think you are? God's gift to mankind? Things wouldn't have changed one bit had he been alive.
