I never even heard of this movie but I watched it at my friends house on DVD and it was great. Since then I’ve searched for it over the years and have found it quite difficult to find despite the popularity in genres like this. It’s like an interesting twist of adventure drama and just the right touch of sci-fi. The story within the story is also interesting but not too far detaching secondary characters from the audience and predictability is not an issue. Overall, I give this 4 stars but that’s only because I don’t like the main character. No matter what I see him in, I think of the Count of Monte Christo.
