ending made no sense but the kills were amazing.

An amazing film with a twist ending! So before i saw this movie i really was excited to see this and i was pretty sure it was going to be good. I mean it also had Antonio Banderas which is one of my favorite actors and also iv'e seen most of his movie like Acts of Vengeance and Security. So naturally, i know b movies like this are gonna be good and most of these movies are underrated which makes me quite sad. So now after seeing it well here's my review; well overall i liked it, i loved it as a matter of fact. I mean like i said i loved movies like this so i knew it was going to be good from the start i mean i even saw the trailer which looked good as well. The acting was great and Antonio Banderas did an amazing job as he always does as well as the other actors, i mean there really is only 2 characters in the movie that matter anyway, all the other people are background characters for that matter, so the way the movie played out was great. Now the story was great and it was very basic in the first and second phase but however the third phase is where it gets pretty insane, just the way that in the end it was all just a dream is pretty wild and its something that has happened in movies many time before. First its all just a setup then the whole entire setup was just a dream, or was it? Somehow i still think that it actually happened and it somehow wasn't a dream even though the movie clearly makes it seem that way at the end. Also i feel like the phrase ''black butterfly'' has a deeper meaning since Antonio types it in his type writer at the end. Maybe he just remembered it from his dream but how out off all the dialogue said can he remember just those two lines. Anyway for my conclusion i just have to say that i really enjoyed this movie from beginning to end and i really thought the story and everything that happened was very neat and i really enjoyed it. So that's Black Butterfly!

An amazing space adventure! Well before seeing this movie i knew it was going to be similar to gravity but not to expect much from this. Well now after seeing it i can say that all the good parts happened in the first 30 mins and after that its all just Brad Pit on his own trying to find his father. So the story is very simple yet can be very complicated at times, for example, he does some pretty dangerous things to try to find his father like sneaking onto a ship and killing everyone on it and even fighting someone whilst doing it which was pretty cool and it was the first time i ever saw someone fight in space. Now i personally liked the story and i thought it was basic and it was OK. There really is no characters other than Brad Pit, i mean there is a few other characters that pop up here and there but for the most part its just him on his adventure to find his dad and getting into all these messes on the way of doing it. The cinematography is another thing which i liked but i thought it could have been better at times. See when it comes to movies like this, one of the big things is the way space is portrayed and captured and also the shots of it. This movie does an ok job at doing this, now the genre for the movie changes i feel like at times. Sometimes it feels scary, then its action, then its suspense, its a pretty cool thing the way it all blends in together. The overall acting by Brad Pit and some other characters are good as well. Now like i said after the first 30 mins there really is no other good parts after that i mean there is maybe 2 or 3 other short little parts that happened here and there after that but like i said other than that its just Brad Pit by his lone. Some cuts were really cool like at one point instead of a cut the camera just shifted over which was something new yet also very very cool. SO overall i really liked this movie and its not like and action movie like most of us thought in the trailer but in the end it really pays off! 💕😊👌

A great brilliant film! Well what made me want to watch this movie was the red band trailer and once i saw it i was like wow i have to see this. It looked amazing and i just had to see it. Well now after seeing it it kinda was as expected and it did as it was supposed to and it was good. I really enjoyed the ending it had a weird twist but it was good and cool. I mean there is a lot of twists in this movie which are cool. There was also a lot of good kills and creative kills in the movie as well. The idea is quite nice and i really thought it was a good idea. This movie feels like how movies nowadays are supposed to be like and it has that modern feel to it. The acting was great and it was really good. The characters were all great and some of them were diverse and had their own ways. There is also some comedic parts which is funny. I gave this film a 9 because well i really liked it and there really wasn't nothing bad about it. There was some really great scenes and some really great shots. Overall an awesome movie and i really enjoyed it!!!! 😊

A weird yet very good movie. So this movie is either slightly better than expected of as expected, i dont really know which one to go under but i might just say it was slightly better than expected. Anyway before i saw this i was pretty surprised and excited that this was gonna be a sequel to the shining so that made me pretty happy and made me really wanna see it. So now after seeing it, it was OK. I mean there was a lot of references and things that happened in the original shining but i feel like there wasn't enough, i mean there was even a lookalike of Jack Nickleson which was a little weird but it was OK. There was also some cool scenes that weren't in the trailer like the shootout scene, who would have thought there wold have been a shootout with rifles in a forest shooting at crazy magic people, who thought that would have anything to do with the shining, i guess the original shining is deeper than you thought. So is it scary, at some points it gets scary and weird but i personally didnt really get scared . The acting and stuff was great. Also in the trailer i saw the part where it was like he was looking through the door like jack was in the shining. Also there is a lot of moments in the movie where they copy moments from the original and it looks cool and i was like wow like the scene on the stairs. Overall it was OK and a good film!

WAY BETTER THAN EXPECTED!!! SO let me just say that this was WAY better than i thought it was gonna be. I heard that it might be a ripoff of just boring but it really wasn't and i really liked it. I never saw the original but my parents did and thats another reason they liked the movie because they liked the original, i only remember seeing it a lot on TV back in 2009-2010 when i was like 7, and i didnt bother watching the original, this was kinda just for the purpose that this was a new movie and it was in theaters and all that so i knew it had to be at least OK. So now after seeing it there was a LOT that i really liked about this movie and im gonna make this review kind of a long one. First off there is an insane amount of sarcasm and jokes in this which i find funny and cool. Also there really is no story it all kinda just blends together and takes you along with it which i found interesting and something that dosent really happen in movies that much especially nowadays. This is one of those movies where you wont forget about it and its just sticks with you its not like it was boring is what im trying to say. There are also a lot of cool scenes in this like the RV shootout or the house fight or the monster truck scene which is by far the best part of the movie because it was so incredible i was just like wow dude, all the scenes are good. I feel like there really wasn't that many zombie encounters here, i mean there were a handful but i feel like maybe one for could make it prefect. The acting and all the performances were great and i loved everything about this movie and the reason im giving this a 10 is because well i dont really have any complaints and theres really nothing bad i have to say about it. The post credits scene was weird but cool. I really liked what this movie went for and i dont know if there will be a 3rd installment one day but all i know is i will definitely see it :D

Better than expected! Well before i saw this i realized that this wasnt really my type of movie but it had a lot of good actors in it so i was like im gonna try to see it. Well now after seeing it i realized a few things. Well here really was no story and there was sometimes too many things happening at once, but it was never confusing, but i dont really mind that as i liked it anyway. Now the best part would be the ending and thats where all the violence happens. The ending was weird but really cool. The acting was great and i really liked everything about it. Since there is really no story but there is some, i liked everything that there was and even basically with no story it still was never boring and was fun to watch the whole time. Some parts and scenes really didn't make no sense and were random but they were still fun to watch nonetheless. I think this movie deserved more awards.

Is this worthy of the awards given? Well first off before i saw this movie i realized the following things, first off the movies i like are action and horror/slasher, so clearly after seeing the trailer i realized that it wasn't going to be that which is OK because i can actually watch anything if i feel like it so i gave it a chance especially since it got awards so i was saying it has to be good. Also i realized there are many good actors in this like Mat Damon, Christian Bale and more and that made me want to see it more, plus it was something different for a change and also its based on a true story which is OK in my book. Well now after watching it i realized that it was pretty long considering it was 2 and a half hours which is pretty long but in the end it was OK. So after seeing it i actually liked it, and a few hours later it started to grow on me and i liked it even more. At the beginning it starts off pretty confusing and i lot to take in and i lot to keep track of but at the last 30-45 minutes it gets real good and thats what makes me like it the most. The racing shots are well shot and also the settings are very cool and look awesome as well all some good shots. In a way i guess the movie did deserve the awards given but i feel like it was OK the was it was. The lesson is always try new things.

Worse than expected. Well when i first saw the trailer right before i saw the movie i thought it was gonna be good and it might be like black and blue which was good, plus in the trailer they played panda which was so cool and i thought it was gonna be in the movie but no, no it wasn't which is sad i thought there might be a shootout with that song playing it at least at the end credits but sadly no, instead i get a horrible soundtrack and ost, every time there is an action scene or any scene at all in fact has a horrible violin track which is horrible and does not fit the movie at all and looks bad. There really was no action and the story is very dry and has been seen many times before, it also gets very boring at some times. The action scenes are basic yet modern which is good but there are only 3 or 4 action scenes everything else is just boring in a way. The acting was alright, i really thought this would be better but it really let me down i mean its not all that bad its just i really thought it would be way better.

An awesome movie! So before i saw this movie i thought it was gonna be basic and stuff and since frank grillo was in it which i love him by the way, i thought it was gonna be another basic movie but after seeing it i realized that it was better than i expected, it was different from other movies and ive heard of it but never really payed mind to it once i seen the trailer a while ago and when i heard about it. This movie relies on suspense and buildup rather than action but there is action and its good. Another thing i like is the ost soundtrack during moments of suspense it sounds pretty cool and scary. The plot is basic yet very complex with multiple problems at times and also at times there is more than one problem happening at the same time which is a common occurrence especially in films like this but it all pans out in the end. The ghetto street approach is something new and i dont mind it its pretty cool and it makes the movie look good. The acting and cast was great as well as the whole story. I loved every second of it and i really enjoyed watching it from beginning to end.
