I haven't played BG or BG2 which means I had no measurements or expectations when it came to BG3. With that being said, if BG or BG2 is anything like BG3, I will purchase both games to gain the full experience of this universe. I love this game. The plot is paced nicely, the characters are mysterious, and failing during a battle is actually fun. If you make a mistake, you instantly know what you did wrong for your next go around. This is what an RPG should be! My only complaint is the price. I think that $59.99 is a bit much for early access.
