Please please please Coronation Street let’s have some happy storylines. During this COVID pandemic don’t you think people need cheering up. The series is getting so dark, just like Eastenders, which I stopped watching years ago. I have been watching Corrie since it began and it was always full of northern humour. You have spoiled every nice character. You’ll be making Rita a ‘murderer’ next !! Lighten up and let’s have some fun and joy on the set and stop spoiling and changing these well loved characters. We all need a bit of light relief and entertainment. hopefully you will listen to this plea and make Coronation Street a joy to watch.
