Was totally engaged in both series. Roughly the same age as the characters and having had a husband involved in the oil industry, it was very real. Add to that the many layers, equal ops for women, big companies v national interests, health and safety and downright bravery etc, etc - it all worked on various levels. The personal stories and the excellent acting made me believe in it all - though I could have knocked Anna and Jonathan’s heads together for the protracted reconciliation when they so obviously loved each other. Of course she was naive and an idiot to trust the press and he was rightly hurt and angry but I found it vastly irritating that they couldn’t talk about it. Sorry is a short but difficult word to say! Nevertheless a great series! Congratulations to all involved and are we going to see more of Bart Edwards in British programmes?
