I enjoy Bukowsi's work and his exuberant vocabulary and dialogue. I found it interesting that my university students in Central Europe loved him. They'd read all the books by him. Students in the USA didn't recognize his name. They'd say, "Huh?" They are missing out by sticking their noses in their smartphones. Bukowski is a literary genius who created his own genre with a niche readership. I highly recommend him as long as the reader doesn't faint over his language. He's a wonderful storyteller.
