This was an insightful examination of the confusing pressures placed on girls as they navigate their journey into adulthood. Many of those negatively reviewing this movie must’ve either seen a different film than I did, or they’re being blinded by a puritanical snobbery that only serves to further isolate young girls inside a hypocritical double standard.
