I really enjoyed this. It brought back comfortingly campy TV shows I grew up with in the 70s and 80s, and the central conceit of the character (his eye is replaced with a cybernetic one that literally 'sees' the truth) was no after than some of the concepts in shows of the time. Julian Barrat is great as the washed-up actor who played Mindhorn, and there were several belly laughs to be had; at one point we had to pause the film so my girlfriend could recover!
