In the beginning I laughed a bit but as the movie went on it was hard to follow. It became so much about hating men that I almost left the theater. They act as if women have it so bad now a days but we are thriving we are now complaining just to complain. Why do we keep putting this victim role on ourselves? They make the men seem awful and the mom gives the cringiest speech I have ever heard. The movie went in so many different directions and it was weird at first I thought it would be about Barbie discovering the world wanting to be part of it but they barely show her in the real world, then I thought it would be about the mom and daughter fixing their relationship but that wasn’t really talked about either, then I thought it might be about Barbie and Ken working things out but no apparently liking him back is bad? They made Ken out to be so desperate for her it was weird. Then they added these business men to the mix and the movie was all over the place. I may have been able to handle subtle references to feminism but it was such a punch in the face made me roll my eyes. I definitely do not suggest this movie to anyone it was overhyped and not worth the money.
