The death of the franchise, and a lame tribute to Wes Craven. Disappointed doesn't even begin to describe how I feel about this lack lustre, weak and lazy effort of what should have been a joyous return to the nostalgia of the slasher movie. Sadly, the writing lacks any of the originality that made this series stand apart from the rest. Indifferent to any of the new players, stars just don't seem to have the charisma of the original pack. Sidney, Gale, Dewy and Judy... I salute you but this was not worth it, and does not honour you.
