Effortlessly engaging, beautifully shot and complex. Nothing is perfect and this has a few questionable plot devices, but still a class act.

Self indulgent film making that stacked a few set action pieces up without story or character development. Each action scene was WAY too long (self indulgent) killing the initial impact with repetition. There is also no real benefit to the audience in Mr Cruise doing any of his big stunts - there is no jeopardy and we expect and see CGI work anyway. Self indulgence once again. Also, can we all agree that a fist fight on top of a train deserves to be left in a 1940's cowboy film? I would call out sound design as a big positive, however.
