We have been enjoying Ghosts and also watched the British original, which benefits enormously from there being no ads. I think people overlook that the ads break up the rhythm of the American show. The British show also moves at a somewhat slower pace, which is the difference between how producers view British vs. American audiences. Just as with The Office, both shows are good, just that one is typically American and the other typically British in the way they treat humor, pacing and production values.
