This really is NOT about race.
She’s just not the Ariel we grew up with. No red straight hair. Her acting is honestly horrible for the scale of this movie (Disney really think this is a good casting decision?)
Even putting this aside, this move is just NOT fun, entertaining, or charming.
Stop forcing society to follow your belief on PC, Disney.
