This show HAD promise when it began, but unfortunately, and sadly, it has lost its way into the tv la la land of the obscenely ridiculous!
Being the mother of an autistic child, I thought this would be insightful, well-thought out, and considerate to all individuals on the autistic spectrum. I was totally wrong!
Dr. Murphy is a spoiled brat! Not all individuals on the spectrum behave this way. In fact, most do not act so outlandishly, making spectacles of themselves. He stomps his feet, and turns all colors, spitting and spewing venom until he gets his way.
Watching each episode became more and more ridiculous and unbearable to view.
I was also disappointed to see that the producers axed Carly and Dr. Melendez. They were just about the only story lines I was following. However, I am finally done with this ridiculous show, and will no longer be watching it. It is too embarrassing to watch, and does more harm than good for anyone who is autistic.
