Chalk it up to another modern dumpster fire. The second you watch it you can tell that something is different. The cinematography is still very good but the story is not even good… shocked the people involved would even be willing to take a successful franchise and flush it. It’s like they made a movie just to make sure they didn’t leave it in a good place.

This is really the best we can do? This series would be so much better if they didn’t spend so much energy on forcing the political/social story line that has nothing to do with anything. It’s almost embarrassing. You have aliens invading the earth ( I think that is still a thing) and you can do thing other than play out these stories to push some agenda… eye roll.

OH NO... They WOKE BROKE Lost in Space!!! Season 1 and 2 were both great seasons and both offered exactly what you want out of a modern well funded SciFi series. It garbed you from the opening scene and made you come back for more. They had this amazing story line and they just told it ( I know crazy). The characters were crazy diverse as you would expect from a story involving the rescue of all mankind from earth. The cool thing was that they were all just people/characters that just so happen to be this beautiful diverse group working together and you didn't notice who was Indian, Spanish or who was white... THEN season 3 (eye roll)... I loved the fact that they had three strong teen characters and that one was an adopted and mixed and they all just were family. Awesome... cue the political BS!!! They had a the cliche scene to work in the gay characters so what ever, considering the show is aimed at children. I LOVED the fact the main teen character was a female but OMG we get it she is a CAPTAIN. I mean if you had a drinking game for every time they called her Captain... you would not last long. Ever other scene was someone making point to call her captain and it comes across as desperate and needy. No longer did you look at her as this strong character but a charity case and political pawn for woke TV. Suddenly you see all these African American kids running around and they all get these parts and stand up a speak out (eye roll again). Just tell the story.
