Rocky Symonds (Joshua Symonds)

This is a good slow burn read. I would NOT recommend reading this if you are not a fan of the works of Dahl. It's an a quired taste. Good for readers who could take dark humor and read through abuse. This book definitely has age, but it's a great way to put yourself in the shoes of young Dahl and what it was like during the time he was growing up. A great read for all ages, Dahl really makes his life story sound like one of his many other books. This is such a good origin story that really gives full context about how his famous pieces came to be.
