Like the critics hate The Princess Bride (my absolute fave since released), I think they just don't get it or are movie snobs, expecting only to watch Oscar- worthy films, otherwise, waste of their time. Be wary when you see such disparate percentages of Audience vs. Critics. If you trust critics, then you might hate it (or maybe you're a movie snob). I'm not in the mood for Oscar films this night; they require too much thought for my exhausted brain. Either you like this kind of humor, or you don't. I love it! Easy and relaxing to watch, action without the nervous system over-stimulation it generally causes, and the CGI cat is obviously not real (due to PETA), but he is cute nonetheless. It could have been shorter, but I enjoyed the ride anyway. I'll watch a whole spy movie with the cat as the star! If there's a sequel, please make it that! Who's the best spy that is never suspected - the 😼!
