I discovered this movie for a second time on Netflix. I had watched it years ago and am evidently in a different space and place in my life now. I sobbed several times and had some undeniably powerful encounters with God. This movie doesn't just take you to church; it reconnects you personally with God in an incredibly powerful way and leaves you there with Him. Remarkable film. Fantastic script. Phenomenal cast. Amazing sound track. And so many amazing parallels, references, and a remarkable level of intentionality overall. Lovely film. Timeless and timely. Faith is indeed the victory. What a powerful reminder.
