good idea, poorly executed. most of this book is okay, but if all of the gay men were just portrayed as normal people, in normal clothes (which is what we are), i would have no issue at all with this book. but the page of old men in fetish clothes is just plain wrong. it essentially allows people to believe all gay men are hypersexual exhibitionist perverts. this is not only far too sexual for young children, but also amplifies homophobic views. the book is trying to teach children that gay people are normal people, but is in fact doing the opposite.
