I was really looking forward to this Series, not only because of the intriguing story but I loved Julia Garner's performance in "Ozark" and thought she was a great choice to play this interesting and complex character Anna "Delvey" Sorokin. What a terrible disappointment all around! The writing was trite, the directing just awful and the acting atrocious. I didn't believe one character. Julia as Anna should have been so charming and appealing that she would be hard to resist. Instead I found her simply annoying and hard to look at with the terrible wigs and wardrobe and bizarre accent. Anna Chlumsky, who is usually also a favorite and was brilliant in VEEP, tries to make it real but the writing and directing clearly get in her way. Just BAD TV. Way too many great shows to watch, don't waste your time on this one!

I have to agree completely with those who find the actress playing the role of Eddie so unbelievable and annoying that it ruins the whole show, unfortunately. Could have been a delightful quirky whodunnit, but her over the top, simply terrible acting is unwatchable and distracting.
