Libby Mountford

For one who is a grandmother, this novel is particularly moving although it will interest all who are interested in relationships between generations. It is thoughtful, sensitive and often funny. Occasionally I lost the thread of who was whom (actually, there are many characters although the story revolves around three elderly woman and the grandchildren whom they care for.) Sally Vickers’s own deep interest in children’s literature and her training as a psychologist informs all she writes.
