This movie turned up at a thift store and I snatched it up! I hadn't seen it since 1983 when it premiered here in Lawrence. With all the news media buzzing about Russia and Putin's war on Ukraine, this movie even after almost 40 years, is still inevitable today. The movie magic that took place during filming, Charlie Oldfather's role and the great makeup jobs on the actors was fantastic. No one would be ready for such a catastrophe. It was far too real; too close to our own reality in 2022.
