*some spoilers*
I loved a lot of this book. Monica and Ginny's friendship was written really well, and I think a lot of people can relate to having a friend where you feel like you can share anything with, and they will listen and be there for you. Monica's dance friends (to me) it felt like they had good intentions, but were saying the wrong things at the wrong times (like the whole period thing). I loved the flashbacks to Jenn's side of the story, where the truth comes out about what really happened. The whole romance thing with her and Ethan was (to me) kinda forced. There were signs they liked each other, and the audiobook thing was great, but it felt like she was depressed and wanted one last chance at happiness. Carly and Juliana were amazing characters, who got caught doing things, they shouldn't have been doing. Ginny's flashback was amazing and to me it was jaw-dropping.
Now to what I didn't like. There was no real signs of who the killer was. The only true sign was when Monica looked at a picture of him and saw the dog bite. There was absolutely no talk about him from 5 years ago, and I just never liked him to begin with. The book was also really slow to start with (in my opinion) and didn't really get good (in my opinion, again) until Monica was confronting Carly for the second time.
Overall, I feel like this was a really good book, I just feel like it could have used some minor tweaking.
