i’ve never rated a movie EVER but i watched this on netflix cuz i was bored out of my mind and the cover looked hilariously bad. i had to stop during the movie so many times simply to process how this got put on netflix. i have no idea what’s wrong w all the people saying it’s the best movie they’ve seen but seek help. i’m not giving it a bad review because it’s inappropriate for kids or i don’t like mermaids, which is what most of the reviews are, it’s just an actual bad movie i don’t have kids... i’m a literal teenager and i’ve watched h2o: just add water and mako mermaids so i’m not new to mermaids but even as cheesy as those are sometimes, this movie is the worst i’ve ever seen. the acting, the cgi, the plot OMG THE PLOT, nothing and i mean NOTHING about this movie is cohesive. every scene just feels like it was thought of last second and nothing fit. all in all this is the actual worst movie i’ve ever seen and probably will ever see and if you want an actual enjoyable movie then save yourself and if you want something to laugh at how bad it is then sure i recommend.
