A worthwhile and too-oft ignored topic. I do question some of the historiagraphy, if you will.
Zinn, for example, is offering a relatively radical reinterpretation of the American Revolution, based on about a dozen secondary sources and what he even labels as "assumptions."
He grossly misrepresents the Boston Tea party, in particular, spinning it as a labor-movement that the factual record does not support.
This makes me question other sections with which I am less familiar.
Parts of the book, sadly, read like a conspiracy theorist's dream
