Neil Raeburn

Not a massive sci fi fan but like the first one I was able to follow it,beautifully shot with some wonderful action sequences.The story was just about easy enough to understand.The main characters are likeable definitely worth watching.

Film was hard work,good performance by jaquin phoenix,but the film tried to cover too much ground,would have been better served by a series rather than a two hour film.Ultimately was a bit boring never really got too find out too much about the main character because of the need to cover so many different events.Telling the story whilst focusing on his relationship with Josephine was what made the film watchable.

First hour and twenty minutes of the film were brilliant the last 40 minutes I didn't like,after 'the twist' and Oliver's birthday party I thought the film went downhill,it became very dark and very strange,and a bit weird which is a shame as up untill then it had been a really enjoyable film.

Location was wonderful and was beautifully shot making Venice look beautiful.Unfortunately I found the film slow and plooding and lost the thread with about 25 percent of the movie left.Kenneth Branagh was good but the story was weak.

Great performance by Chris Hemsworth,an epic viking tale with a storyline right out of game of thrones.Found it a bit gory and violent at times but this was how Vikings loved.Loved the out of world sequences and the Viking mythology.
