( sorry spoilers) The intention behind the book was very good . The ideas of the author as well . But the way the story is displayed, just wipe it all. Firstly, Ava had known Alex for a really long time . But it’s just know that she start feeling attracted by him ? Secondly I honestly thought things went too fast , the enemy to lovers romance we were supposed to have here quickly left to just a simple romance . Thirdly, all the mystery around her drowning when she was little just got resolved super easily and quickly, like it was not even a problem from the start. The same goes for the mystery behind Alex family death , it was so easy to discover the truth ( for the readers , although he had being searching proof for 10 years , was it his first time in his uncle library?) Anyway overall the book isn’t bad . But still left lots of incomprehension.
