Personally as a fan of the franchise since day 1 i couldn’t care less wether or not the movie was bad or good. But i think people were expecting WAY too much…let me remind you this movie was based off of the FIRST game meaning they didn’t really have much to go off of so it would make sense that Scott added some more into the storyline. I think the characters were amazing along with the animatronics William Aftons actor was PERFECTLY executed and a great villain although i do wish he had more screen time. The fnaf fandom has a history of being extremely picky with everything in the franchise and it honestly makes me sad seeing as to how Scott had the intention to make this FOR the fans of fnaf. If you are a hardcore fan and genuinely enjoy the games I think the movie is perfect for you. I loved how each animatronic had their own personality just like in the games and how they also had the ability to goof around a bit and play around and be the little kids that they are. All of the references made to the games had me so stoked I really do think they did the absolute best they could with this movie . Overall the movie is a great introduction to the franchise..and the og fnaf fans will be happy with the characters, animatronics, references, and the story. Thank you Scott!
