Graphically very good, but stopped watching after the first segment with singing that went on and on and on. Purely for kids which is fine and as far as negative comments re the film depicting parents as monsters and covering divorce, kids shouldn't be treated as idiots so let them ask the questions.

I was 28 in 1988 when Beetlejuice came out and absolutely loved that film. So it was with high expectations that my wife and I watched Beetlejuice 2 although my wife didn't recall seeing the first film. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. It's a convoluted mess with plots and sub plots that don't contribute to the film in any way. The ridiculously long musical scenes were also boring and unnecessary and several characters seemed like an afterthought. You can't always recreate the innovation and originality of the past in a sequel!

This movie had great reviews from a number of respected you tube reviewers, so decided to watch it. Starts ok with an underlying uneasiness and danger but quickly gets unrealistic very quickly. Without giving to much away, if as a husband and wife with a young daughter, you were being threatened with death and horrendous physical danger, would you not fight tooth and nail against your assailants particularly if they have no leverage over you, or weapons of any kind? Was so cringeworthy that almost didn't watch to the end.

Laughingly bad. About as frightening as burnt toast! Had the right premise but shockingly acted scenes by the possessed boy and left wondering if it was a comedy sendup

Looked forward to watching this and expected plenty of action, but start to finish it's 95% shooting, explosions, killing, and unbearably loud with some cringeworthy lines along the way. Didn't work for me unfortunately.
